Unbelievable!

The State of Ohio legislature has passed
a bill to allow guns in bars. People with concealed weapons permits
will not have the major inconvenience of removing the guns before
they start drinking.
Who came up with this great idea? Everyone knows that alcohol and
guns are such a great combination. This could bring Ohio out of its
recession by encouraging new entrepreneurs. Just think of all the
new facilities; a combination Bar and Shooting Range. You won’t have
to leave your barstool to snap off a few rounds after you have had a
few rounds.
If they are too paranoid to go into a bar without packing heat,
maybe they ought to drink at home.
And they told us second-hand smoke in bars will kill us.
Are You Kidding Me?

I know this is strange blog for a
business site but when I first heard this I thought it was a woman
comedian doing satire. After a little research I found out it wasn’t
fiction.
The Secretary of Labor, Hilda Solis, has PSA (Public Service
Announcement) asking illegal aliens to turn in their employers for
not paying a comparable wage to documented workers. Solis said in
the press release that she has added more than 250 new field
investigators nationwide to participate in the campaign. The
American taxpayers are funding this travesty.
Just so I understand all the facts:
1. American employers may only hire documented workers.
2. The minimum wages laws protect all workers, including illegals.
The business that hires an undocumented worker is not being punished
for hiring the illegal but will be fined for paying them less. The
government will aid the undocumented worker in recovering “owed
wages. “
So our government is helping one set of law-breakers against another
set of law-breakers. Are you kidding me?
Rather than secure our borders and protect Americans, the Democrats
are securing favors for millions of future Democrats. They just have
to make sure the ballots are printed in Spanish!
Do You Know Who Is Fixing
Your Hardware?
"We got people"

If you Google “HP support”, you get hundreds of companies
stating they perform HP maintenance. Some of them are simply
reselling Hewlett Packard’s maintenance offerings of
warranty or post-warranty support. Others consider
maintenance as a secondary offering to their primary
business of used hardware or software sales. A few companies
actually employ engineers. But who is actually going to
maintain your equipment? Who knows?
One company advertises service but subcontracts to another
“HP Service Company”, who in turn, partners with a third
company. Even some HP third party service organizations
advertise nationally then surreptitiously find some other
company to do the service in areas where they don’t have
employees.
Is subcontracting a bad thing? Some subcontractors are
prompt and competent. Others leave a lot to be desired. The
unsettling part is the customer never knows who will be
attempting to fix their equipment.
ATServe utilizes its own salaried employees to service your
account. Let me repeat that. ATServe utilizes its own
salaried employees to service your account. Unless we notify
you to the contrary, a qualified ATServe employee will be
servicing your account.
I have not found an independent service company that
specializes in HP with complete nationwide onsite coverage.
ATServe utilizes subcontractors for some areas of the
country. We inform our customers as to what we are doing and
why. We insist our subcontractors are able to meet our
response requirement and have competent technicians.
The employees of ATServe are professionals. While we may not
have the best marketing, I feel we have the best engineers.
